December 19, 2017 - Ken Durand (7th Degree) and his brother Dan (4th Degree) will be hosting a seminar on the new Judo shiai rules. This will include both an overview and a question and answer peroid. It is intended to allow participants to get an informed opinion on the legality of various legacy moves and techniques. The seminar will be held on Saturday, January 6th, from 10:00 - 12:00. The fee will be $20 at the door. All are welcome and it is recommended that all Yudansha attend.

October 9, 2017 - While our club is run entirely by volunteers, we still have to pay the rent. Our dues are: Monthly $40, Per Class $6. Students, Au Pairs and Vermont Aikido members, no charge. Dues can be given to Dustin.

This will in place of our normal Saturday session and will be held at the Vermont Aikido Dojo, as usual. All are welcome and it is recommended that all Yudansha should attend. January 29, 2017 - The 12th annual UNH Wildcat Invitational will be held on February 26th 2017.It will be held at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, about 3 hours out. Online registration is available: Here. If you are planning on going, please see Phil.

January 27, 2017 - In June of 2016, Mark Melesky, the coach and founder of the Midori Yama (UVM) Judo club, had to leave due to personal reasons. Phil Matcovich then took over the role of coach. Mark is once again available to teach and will resume his title as coach of the team, effective January 31th. He will teach on Thursdays, while Roy McDonald will instruct on Tuesdays.
