November 17, 2014 - A promotion seminar was held on Saturday, November 15. John Anello was promoted to gokyu (Green belt), Max Ekstrom was promoted to yonkyu (Blue Belt) and Dylan Gates was also promoted to yonkyu (Blue Belt). Several judoka served as Uki. Shomen consisted of Josef Roubal (Yodan), Paul Gellino (Sandan), Phil Matcovich (Sandan), Etsuro Nishiyachi (Nidan), Dustin Bruso (Shodan), Dave Clements (Shodan) and Pete Bottino (Shodan).

November 7, 2014 - We are pleased to announce that a promotion seminar will be held on Saturday, November 15th. This will be during our normal class times of 10:30 to 12:00.

October 5, 2014 - We are pleased to announce that a seminar with the UVM Judo club will be held on Saturday, October 18th. This will be during our normal class times of 10:30 to 12:00. We look forward to working out with Sensi Mark and his students.

October 5, 2014 - While our club is run entirely by volunteers, our we still have to pay our rent. Our dues are: Monthly $40, Per Class $6. Students, Au Pairs and Vermont Aikido members, no charge. Dues can be given to Dustin or Pete.

October 5, 2014 - It is desirable to have our club members registered with at least one of the national judo organizations. This is required if you want to complete at tournaments. We would encourage students to register with the USJA. For this purpose, we are considered a satellite club of Cohoes Judo. A pdf with the tricky parts already filled out is Here. June 29, 2014 - We are going to suspend the Wednesday class for the rest of the Summer. There will be no change for the Monday (18:30) or Saturday (10:30) classes. The Wednesday class will be reinstituted in the Fall.
