	November 27th, 2014 - UNH Wildcat Invitational Shiai, will be held on Sunday, February 22th, in Durham, New Hampshire. The tournament info has not yet been posted, but the club website is Here. If you are thinking of going, please see Dave.
	October 22, 2013 - On Saturday, October 12, Max Ekstrom, received his promotion to Yonkyyu (Green belt) . Pete Bottino and Jesse Burkit were uke for his demonstration. Shomen consisted of Paul Gelineau (Sandan), Etsuro Nishiyachi (Nidan), Dustin Bruso (Shodan), and Dave Clements (Shodan). Congratulations Max!
	September 21, 2013 - Judo Shiai- Morris Cup Championships - Sunday, October 13, held in Ballston, NY. Seniors start at 2:00 PM. For more information, please click Here. This is about three hours away. If you are thinking of going, please see Dustin.
	August, 28, 2013 - Tthere will be NO CLASS on Monday, September 2 , due to the Holiday.
	August 20, 2013 - On Monday, August 19, Pete Bottino, received his promotion to Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt). Paul Gellino served as his Uki for Nage No Kata and Dave Clements served as Uki for the knowledge test. Shomen consisted of Josef Roubal (Yodan), Paul Gellino (Sandan), Phil Matcovich (Sandan), Etsuro Nishiyachi (Nidan), Tim Blake (in absentia) (Nidan), Congratulations to Pete!!
	August 16, 2013 - There there will be NO CLASS on Saturday, August 17, due to an Aikido seminar. Sorry for the late notice..
	July 3, 2013 - There will be regular on Saturday July 6.
	May 24, 2013 - There will be regular on Saturday May 25. However, there will be NO CLASS on Monday, May 27, due to barbecues.
	May 17, 2013 - There will will be NO CLASS on Saturday May 18, due to an Aikido seminar.
	May 12, 2013 - We now offer a free first month to all Law Enforcement Personnel, effective immediatly. For details, please click here
	May 12, 2013 - While our club is run entirely by volunteers, our we still have to pay our rent. To cover this There will be a new dues schedule. That is: Monthly $40, Per Class $6, students, Au Pairs and Vermont Aikido members, no charge. This will become effective in June.
	April 4, 2013 - The website can now be accessed by www.vermontjudo.net, as well as www.vermmontjudo.com.
	March 10th, 2013 - On Saturday, March 9th, during class at the Cohoes Judo Club, Paul Gelineau received his Kodokan certificate for Shodan (1st degree black belt). Phil Matcovich also received his for Sandan (3rd degree black belt). The certifictaes were awarded by Pete Andres, Godan, (5th Degree Black Belt), Terry Sharp, Godan, (5th Degree Black Belt), Patty Liacona, Godan, (5th Degree Black Belt),and Josef Roubal, Yodan, (4th Degree Black Belt). Also in attendance from Aki no Kure were Dustin Bruso Shodan, (1th Degree Black Belt) and John Anello, Yokyu, as well as the whole Cohoes class. Congradulations Paul and Phil!
	February 22, 2013 - Results for UNH Wildcat 2013 Jesse Birkett Advanced under 220 division 2-2-0 Evan Shearer Advanced under 198 division 2-1-0 Congratulations Jesse and Evan!
	February 1, 2013 - We can now offer custom embroidery of the Aki No Kure club emblem on your gi for $20. This is a great way to help the Club and enhance your gi. For pictures, click here and here. The work is being done through East Coast Printers of Essex Jct. In order to get a best price we will need to do them in groups of four. Please see Phil if you are interested.
	January 29th, 2013 - Yet aniother contingent will be going to the semi annual promotional clinic on Sunday Feb 10th at the Kin Tora Judo Club in Buffalo, NY. Please see Dustin if you are intrested.
	January 26th, 2013 - a contingent will be going to visit the Cohoes Judo Club on March 9th. If you are instrested in joining us, please see Dustin.
	January 24th, 2013 - The Ne Waza seminar which was to be held on Saturday, January 19th has been postponed due to circumstances beyond our control. A new date will be announced.

	January 5, 2013 - The Aki No Kure Judo Club will be sponsoring a Ne Waza seminar on Saturday, January 19th from 10:30 to 12:30. The fee will be $20 at the door. This will be in place of our usual class.
